The Best of Clawson: Frittata

Looking for an amazing place for breakfast, lunch or brunch?? Check out Frittata in Downtown Clawson! They offer a variety of choices but their signature Frittata is to die for! We’re calling this place one of the “Best of Clawson!”
A Frittata is basically a 3 egg omelette that starts out in a pan on the stove. Lots of fresh veggies and/or meat are added and then it is finished off in the oven giving it a fantastic crisp crust and a moist flavorful inside. Try the Southwest Bacon Frittata…stuffed with bacon, green peppers and cheese and set atop of their homemade enchilada sauce. Yum! Each day they have fresh jams and flavored butter to accompany the many types of toasts they have available. Not to mention a menu that any vegan or vegetarian can work with!
Frittata was opened about 5 years ago by Tracy and Chef Jerald along with their spouses Jon and Donna. They met in the restaurant industry and decided to create food and an atmosphere that people would line up for. And that is exactly what they got! Spring through Fall, when the patio is open to all, you will literally see a line out the door for this fresh gourmet breakfast and lunch.
Inside this gem you’ll find a small calming space with just about 10 tables. Low wood tiled ceilings and gorgeous artwork by Tracy’s husband Jon give this place a European feel. Fresh cut flowers on each table every day are just another example of the dedication to making every guest feel comfortable and welcome.
Wondering about dinner? Well Frittata is only open to the public from 7:30-2:30pm every day except for Monday BUT they are always open to catering events on or off site for any meal you like! Check with Tracy and she’ll give you all the details!
