Live-Blogging: The Steve Harvey Show

Vantage Point

The good people at Ford Motor Co invited me to attend the live broadcast of the Steve Harvey show.  While I am not that coherent at the show.  I will do my darnedest to share my experience with you.  Welcome to my live blog.

7:25am - This is definitely quite the show.  I am always confused as to when they are on the air or off the air.  All right, I must shut down for a while.  I’ll be back!

7:10am - My MacBook is running on strictly battery.  I will have to shut this down in a short while.  I will give a summary synopsis whenever I quit this.

7:02am - Listening to Steve Harvey promote his suits that are sold at JC Penney, reminds me of how solopreneurs, like me, have to develop multiple income streams.  I mean, I know Mr. Harvey must get a decent amount for the radio show alone, but why stop there?  He won’t be on the radio forever.  You need to keep it moving to coming up with the next enterprising idea.

6:54am - There is a radio reporter giving an update on the Fort Hood melee.  I am impressed by the quality of the production here.  The reporter is not in attendance.

6:47am - Ford hosts a contest, utilizing the 2010 Ford Taurus.  2 show attendees were contestants and they both ended up tying to win $50 each.  I want $50!

6:35am - Uh oh, so we got in a little trouble with the Steve Harvey show.  Apparently, they think we are live streaming the show, which we weren’t.  I guess we cannot show photos either.  Funny thing is, out of the 3 bloggers here, I am the only one that can get online.

6:26am - Did Steve Harvey just say a four-letter word.  Isn’t this a radio show?  It’s funny the things that will jostle your senses.  Boy, could I use just a smidge of caffeine.

6:11am - The show is finally under way on MIX 92.3FM.  I am barely awake, even amidst all the hubbub.

I was really disappointed that I could not get online. I was really shocked when that big bodyguard came all the way off the stage to see what we were doing.
