Things To Do; Experience the Walk Day Energy!

AIDS Walk Detroit - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2009 begins at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market located on the corner of 11 Mile Rd. and Troy St. in downtown Royal Oak. Simply bring the pledges you have collected to the registration table and collect your incentives. Once you have registered there is plenty to do before the Walk starts: enjoy goodies provided by our corporate sponsors; listen to the tunes spun by Channel 955; view the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and take in all the excitement in the AIDS Walk Detroit event area.

Then join the 5,000+ participants in our annual 5K Walk. Water stations and medical assistance will be provided on the Walk Route.

Note: While we welcome dogs to participate in the Walk, we ask that all dogs be on a leash and that you clean up after your friend. For safety reasons, please leave inline skates, skateboards and bicycles at home.
