Have you been looking for love in all the wrong places? *Groan* Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

Well, there are a crap-ton of online dating sites. Everyone you know who has a profile on these sites has a different opinion as to which one is the best. Some say they all suck while others gush on about the string of successful first dates. But regardless of whose opinion is right or wrong, there are so many apps on the market for those looking…to find love.

OK Cupid is a dating app from the dating site, OK Cupid. It’s a social networking app, too. The app locates registered singles in you area, allowing for chatting and meeting up! OK Cupid is the highest rated dating app.

Tingle is a free app that lets you connect, chat, flirt and call safely by not sharing your personal information, unless YOU want to share it.

Are You Interested iTunes, Android and Facebook app has over 60 million users. It’s an online community where you can meet and chat with people in real time.

Zoosk is a romantic social networking app. There is a free version and then it jumps to around $40 a month to join.

Plenty of Fish (POF) is a completely free dating site and probably one of the more widely used ones. The free Android app has a ton of great and interactive features to make it easier to meet someone geographically desirable.

Blendr for iOS and Android uses the mobile location device to connect you with singles in your area.

Grindr is a dating app for the gay, bi, curious community. It is  available on Android devices and iOS starting at .99. There is also a premium subscription available.

Meet Moi is another location based dating app. Free in iTunes and Android. It pairs you up with other singles nearby to you. If you get along, you meet up. This app does also have an upgrade making your options more unlimited.

eHarmony is supposedly another one of the #1 singles sites. They have an Android app and an iOS which are both free. The paid packages begin at $19/month and go up…WAY up.

Sonar is available on iOS and Android for free. The app has received rave reviews and is supposedly a “must-have” “tool” for those who are single and looking.

BUT…as with any form of online and blind dating, use common sense and caution.

If you’ve used any of these apps, we’d love to hear from you as to which one is the best for finding love…or at least someone to hang out with for a few hours!

Nice list, it’s great that these days we have 100% free mobile dating sites as well, as such places like MeetOutside are good to go by just creating a profile. I found it’s features up to the mark and better still got myself 2 dates in around 10 days time, although there were a lot of offers, I eventually had to turn down quite a few.
