Have fun improving your cooking skills

There is an easy way to improve your cooking skills and have a blast doing it without having to travel a great distance or take out a student loan. Right in our own N. W. Metro Detroit area there are 2 places where you can sign up for individual cooking classes.

The first is Sur La Table Cooking School** in the Somerset Mall in Troy MI. These classes are held in a hands-on environment in a professional kitchen, led by professional chefs. An example of the upcoming classes offered this month are:

The second is Holiday Market’s Mirepoix Cooking School in Royal Oak MI. Mirepoix offers a hands-on cooking experience where you “interact” with the ingredients and do the prep work yourself. An example of the upcoming classes offered this month are:
