MIPA: Own Your Brain. Own Your Life.TM! A conversation with Sylvia Becker-Hill.

MIPA stands for Michigan International Professional Association and is all about Connecting, Engaging, and Discovering. MIPA’s mission is to offer a platform for business professionals to connect and share thoughts in a convivial setting. This mission is driven to:

  • Create opportunities to connect, make new contacts, expand one’s network
  • Provide a setting to create new thoughts and ideas
  • Offer a convivial atmosphere for all business professionals who choose to advance their careers or to expand their businesses
With this said, on Tuesday May 10th, 2011 MIPA invites certified coach Sylvia Becker-Hill to introduce us to our brain.
With simplicity, start by realizing that you don’t know, what you don’t know.
Understand the brain and how it is wired: find keys to how we can keep “re-wiring” our brains. Learn how to accelerate any change in a powerful way.
Here are some Q & A – to give you a taste of what to expect-
MIPA Brain Ticker 1 – Q: What is neuroplasticity? – Sylvia Becker-Hill’s A: Neuroplasticity describes the ability of the brain to rewire itself throughout our lives. It’s a new scientific paradigm – a phenomenon proven about twenty years ago.

MIPA Brain Ticker 2 – Q: Why is neuroplasticity significant to you and your work? A from S B-H: As humans, we have access to the conscious part of our brain which is small compared to the subconcious part of our brain. And most of our patterns, habits, memories, values, judgments and categories are stored in the subconscious.

This Workshop about Our Brain will be Moderated by Sylvia Becker-Hill. Come Learn from and meet
the Artist
Jacqueline Drake, whose artwork will be featured throughout the workshop. All this, along with the enjoyment of a warm dinner, dessert and a nice glass of wine.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 6:30pm until 9:00pm, Located Upstairs at the Franklin Grill, 32760 Franklin Road, Franklin, MI.
