Just as with diet fads there are also workout fads, and here are some of the top fads that deem to be most popular these days in my opinion and what exactly they entail.
1. Military/Bootcamp style outdoor workouts-
these workouts often mimic the military training going from circuit to circuit with little to no time in between.Boot camp workouts are efficient because you work your entire body .The workouts involve jumping jacks, crunches, mountain climbers,calisthenics like push ups, and other body weight exercises.
2. Cardio Box/ Kickboxing
Sports scientists agree that cardio-boxing is one of the best ways and hottest trends for working out, because it challenges the entire body and provides a complete workout and is non stop! The major benefits of cardio boxing include increased strength, speed, coordination, and works both your cardio and endurance systems. This workout is a combination of boxing techniques, bag work, ab work, stretching and possibly pair workouts depending on the instructor as well as mit work if it’s a private session.
This form of working out is probably one of my favorite fads and always will be. This is a challenging workout in which you are on a stationary indoor bike and typically have a trainer on a spinning bike in front instructing you on different drills, intervals, intensities, etc. This will definitely get your blood pumping, your legs burning, and sweating like no other!
