movements to toughen tissues and train nerve cells to stimulate a specific pattern of muscle contraction so the muscle generates as strong a contraction as possible in the shortest amount of time
This enables us to jump higher,throw faster, and basically strengthen our entire body in half the time.
Just as the rule applies that when training opposing muscles you strengthen double time because your body is putting more work into it, the same applies with plyometrics or as I like to call it “powermetrics”.
